Salmon and Shrimp, Zucchini, Carrots and Onions ( Red Ginger, Charlotte, NC)
Pescatarian- in other words, a pescatarian maintains a vegetarian diet with the addition of fish and other sea foods such as shrimp and lobster.
So, I’ve been getting these question lately..
Why’d you decide to stop eating all meat except fish?
Are you sure you want to do this?
What are you going to eat?
Yes, I have completely thought about the choice I made before I made it.
I did tons of research on top of research before I fully converted. As of now I can say that this was best decision I have made in my life thus far.
Why’d I’d do it?
1. Health Reasons
My number one reason is health benefits. I watched a documentary and literally converted in a day. On another note I do think it is very inhumane what they do to the animals we eat, but on the other hand one person alone can’t stop the production of meat. I have gained so much insight on my journey and actually can say I’ve did something I never thought I would do. I DID.
I have noticed such a difference within my body, it’s amazing, I cut out a lot of processed foods and eat more vegetables throughout the week, of-course i have a cheat day. But, for the most part I consistently stick to my diet.
I have a strenuous schedule and I need as much energy as possible. My energy levels are beyond up and I am more alert. I’m also a workout freak so with the change in my diet I can have a longer and productive workout session.
There are tons of quick meals that you can consider without adding meat to your plate and get full!
I don’t try to push my beliefs on anyone, but I do hope that everyone can find that balance to eat more healthier food than JUNK. I promise you will thank yourself in the end, less doctor visits and more time to enjoy life.
Eat To Live, Not Live To Eat!
